Explore the Grand Ballon the highest peak in the Vosges. Located in the Ballons des Vosges regional nature park, it offers an exceptional 360° panorama of the Alsace plain, from the Vosges mountain range to the Swiss Alps on a clear day. And if the fog rolls in, photographing a sea of clouds becomes a moment suspended in time! For hikers, runners and cyclists, there are numerous trails and itineraries of varying degrees of difficulty. Whatever your sport, the climb will be well worth the detour!

In Alsace, there’s plenty to do around Geishouse. Take the new Haag greenway to the famous Route des Crêtes for a panoramic walk. Watch the chamois at sunrise or take part in the transhumance to discover local traditions. Enjoy a unique paragliding experience with spectacular views. Explore the Wesserling park, its gardens and textile museum. Cool off at Lac de Kruth or the Wesserling swimming pool. On a family vacation, Natur’camp is ideally located for enjoying parks and attractions. Just 8 km away, visit the Parc de Wesserling, with its magnificent barefoot trail, 45 minutes away, discover the Parc du Petit Prince, or less than 1 hour away, explore the Parc zoologique et botanique de Mulhouse.
There are also attractions in the heart of nature, such as the accrobranche park and its various activities (paintball, pedalo, escape game…) at Lac de Kruth, or summer tobogganing at the Markstein or La Bresse resorts.
For thrills, spend a day at one of Europe’s biggest and most popular theme parks: Europa Park.

Alsace’s Hautes-Vosges offer incredible diversity for mountain bikers and cyclists. Here is a selection of some ideas:
- Explore the nearby cycle paths and the new greenway from Geishouse to Le Haag and the Route des Crêtes.
- Take on the mythical passes used by the Tour de France, (the Ballon d’Alsace, the Grand Ballon, the Col du Platzerwasel…) real challenges!
- Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced mountain biker, the massif offers many mountain trails through forests, ridges and impressive landscapes.
- For downhillers, the La Bresse Bike Park offers 6 technical trails and 4 freeride trails.
